Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect personal data.

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Palaxar LLC (“Palaxar”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a global food supplier headquartered in Hong Kong, with a European office in Wrocław, Poland. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal data when you visit palaxar.llc (the “Website”) or otherwise interact with us.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”) and, where our activities concern individuals in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

1. Data we collect

The Website is informational and does not require registration. We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details you provide when you reach out to us by telephone or in the course of business — such as your name, company name, telephone number, email address and the content of your enquiry.
  • Business information shared with us during an enquiry, quotation or trading relationship (for example delivery addresses, order details and billing information).
  • Technical data collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure when you use the Website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, date and time of access and pages visited. These server logs are used for security and operation of the Website.

2. How we use personal data

  • to respond to enquiries and provide quotations;
  • to establish, manage and perform a business or supply relationship;
  • to carry out compliance and counterparty due-diligence checks where required;
  • to operate, secure and improve the Website;
  • to comply with legal, regulatory, tax and record-keeping obligations.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent; the necessity of processing to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract or to perform a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, provided these are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

4. Cookies and third-party resources

The Website does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser transmits your IP address to Google when the Website loads. See our Cookie Policy for details.

5. Sharing of personal data

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with:

  • service providers who support our operations (such as hosting providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
  • logistics partners, banks, auditors, legal and other professional advisers where necessary for the purposes described above;
  • competent authorities and regulators where required by law.

6. International transfers

As an international trading business operating between Asia and Europe, we may transfer personal data across borders — including between our Hong Kong headquarters and our European office, and to counterparties and service providers in other jurisdictions. Where the GDPR applies to such transfers, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or rely on other lawful transfer mechanisms.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including satisfying legal, accounting, compliance and reporting requirements. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

If you are in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). In Hong Kong, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, is always available on this page. Material changes will be indicated by updating that date.
